This week we’ll be submitting the new Nozbe 1.5 apps to the Mac App Store, iOS App Store and everywhere else. This new apps will introduce feature parity across all the platforms.

Now you can convert any existing project to a template and create similar projects with one click. A huge time saver!

The Quick-Add (CMD+OPT+T) enhancements (Mac only)

Contexts shared across the team automagically
Now when you assign a context to a task in a shared project, other people on your team will see it automatically. This way you can communicate even better through tasks by assigning contexts to your shared tasks.

Why 1.3.1? Well, because we submitted 1.3 to Apple to the Mac App Store on August 31st and were hoping to have the app approved (and launched) within a week. Fast forward three weeks later and our app is still “waiting for review”. iPhone 5 launch is taking its toll on Apple, I believe. Anyway, in the meantime we’ve prepared 1.3.1 with bug fixes you guys submitted and we discovered when using the version and decided to submit the 1.3.1 to Apple today. We won’t wait for the Mac App Store submission to finish and we’ll launch 1.3.1 to all Nozbe users this coming Tuesday. We just can’t wait any longer for you to benefit from amazing “rich comments”. You’ll love them.
In the meantime we’ve been busy working on 1.4 with very comprehensive print support, “shared” contexts between people, project templates and much more… and we’re shipping 1.4 at the end of October so stay tuned!
I know it’s been a week coming, but finally we’ve got a release candidate of our Nozbe Destkop 1.3 for Windows, so if you want to test it and see how “Rich Comments” work, let us know!
Well, we’ve been working the last month like crazy on the new version of Nozbe desktop for Mac with some amazing functionality. The Windows version will be posted on Monday as we’re having some issues with the build we need to iron out. But as the App Store submission process takes a few days, we have the time. So there you have it, a few minutes after we submitted the build to the Mac App Store:

We’re getting ready to start rolling out our newest mobile apps and most of all, our long-awaited Android application update. This app was rewritten based on our Mobile web app with some really fantastic goodies available on the native Android platform:
This is version 1.0 of our brand new Android app. We’ll be improving it this month to show you version 1.1 with additional features and further polish, but we didn’t want to wait for that.
We’ve tested the app on our phones (Nexus One running ICS 4.0, Galaxy 3 running ICS 4.0, Droid running 2.2, Nexus S running JB 4.1 and some other, smaller phones) and the app works great. We also tested it for tablets and it should be fine for now.

Again we’ve fallen into a fight with Apple over their new “sandboxing” rules and couldn’t submit this release to the App Store. We actually had the release ready a few weeks ago but wanted to show it to you along with the Mac App Store release… but it will take us another 2 weeks to get have Apple approve it… so we decided to release version 1.2 for our most-eager customers right now. Here it is:
In this release there are several great new features (apart from many bug fixes and performance improvements):
drag and drop between projects and contexts (to them and from them, it works amazingly!)
push-sync - now you don’t have to press “sync” every now and then. If something changes in your Nozbe account (someone updates a shared project, you update the project from web or mobile…) the desktop application will sync automatically.
quick task entry - just press “+” in right-hand corner or “t” (for “task”) and you’ll be able to add a task from anywhere in Nozbe (also works with our great “#” shortcuts!)
In the meantime we’ve been working on version 1.3 which will be even better so stay tuned. It could be so, that we’ll just skip version 1.2 in the Mac App store and submit version 1.3 directly. Fingers crossed…
We’ve just released Nozbe Android 2.01 version - with many improvements and fixes - we posted it to the market, but if you need APK for Kindle Fire or other devices - please let us know how this app works:

We’re proud to have our official Android Nozbe application in version 2.0 on the Android Market. Here’s the announcement on our Nozbe blog.
While it’s great it’s there, many of you folks, especially the Kindle Fire users, have been asking about the APK to install manually.
Once you do, please send your screenshots to dev@nozbe.com so that we could see how the app performs on the Kindle Fire and what we can do to make it better - especially please send us screens where you see the improvements are most necessary. Thanks!
